STA Travel


Working across the key markets of USA, UK, Australia and Central Europe, STA Travel is one of the largest travel organisations for students and young people in the world.

I was part of a small team that worked on defining their story, vision, mission and values.

This resulted in a new logo, colour palette, typeface and visual system. One of the key observations we addressed was ‘all travel companies use similar photography to advertise their products and engage with their customers’. We developed a way to make a photo, an STA Travel photo. ‘Face to Face’ with the world was born, bringing a point of view perspective to their visual style.

A logo is the purest form of expression for any organisation, product or service. It’s the visual shorthand for the entire brand and needs to be distinctive and representative of the whole.
